Default Vertex Alpha 170 Skimmer Advice

I just set up my Vertex Alpha skimmer and have a couple of questions. As of right now the wedgepipe is pretty much wide open and the adjustment nozzle on the pump is only open about 3-4 turns.

1. My water level is 9 inches which is within guidelines. Based on the pictures below does this look ok.

2. Right now I have bubbles coming up to basically the top of the collection cup where. Does this look right (or is it too early to say).

3. In the cone, there is white foam just above the bubble plate - does that look ok?

Based on these pics, anything else you would recommend. I know it is early days with this, but any advise is appreciated.

Have the Venturi nozzle opened 2 3/4 turns and if this is just starting out. Yes u need to let it break in I have mine in about 8.5 inches of water too try that but if its new give it time

Doesn't matter how much you have been reading until you take the plunge.
You don't know as much as you think.

Yeah it's brand new so I won't worry about dialing it in yet. Patience is not my strong suit!

once its broken in you will be good to go... I would lower the water level to about 7 " or raise the skimmer a bit so it will break in then you can find the happy medium
