lol . I just bye the jars. Pickles are in them as a free bonus. Great marketing on there behave. I wish other manufacturers fallow suit . Lost reactor I bout had nothing in it. I was hopping for wine gums .How disappointing . I can barely wait to see what is in the new protean skimmer when I upgrade

Found some dollar store jars
They're glass with plated plastic lids
I needed the plastic lids to drill holes for intake pipes

Here's a quick vid You may need to turn your volume up as it's that quiet

I've changed the mixer timers. They run for 1 min every 10 mins
Seems to be working well, and the glass is much quieter than the original plastic containers

Nice touch!

while your diy is admirable it'd be easier to just pickup some BRS chems. Mine mix crystal clear and only the alk has the slightest bit of cloud to it by the time my gallon jug is depleted. no mixing required lol =)

As I stated in the beginning I'm going to use up the Seachem stuff I have before I jump into 2 part
Thanks for the info though ... good to know it's easier to work with mixing-wise
