![]() this is really werid. i hear ppl talkin about their skmmer not working or not making enough bubbles but my skimmer is making to much foam and not enough dry foam
i don't know how i can bring down the pump out put alan> maybe u know whats wrong i'd completly took off those valve out and it's making so much that the cup is full in 1 min! |

![]() FWIW this is how i have mine set up:
if you take off the collection cup, you should have a nice thick foam right at that level...it should not be overflowing. looks like you need to restrict the input to the skimmer. HTH |

![]() I sometimes had the same problems for awhile after feeding, but waited a couple of hours and it stopped. How high is it sitting in the sump? It should be about 3" off the bottom, and the water level will be OK. Then you adjust the foam under the cup as mentioned above.
Check how high it's sitting - that's the only thing I can think of, as it put lots of dry foam always. AJ |

![]() I don't know if this helps-probably not, it's just a thought- my roomie use to use a water conditioner sold by big al's-this stuff would make his skimmer go nuts for a week or so.
