Default Banggai cardinal chasing like mad!

My male banggai started chasing my female banggai like made since yesterday night. The female is hiding away from the male (who keeps on searching for her throughout the tank!). She even stops eating and looks like she already lost weight!

Is that mating behavior?

do you know for a fact that they are male and female?
if not, you may have 2 males or 2 females - which can lead to problems.
banghai's can be annoyingly frustrating.
they can sometimes be fine with each other.
then other times, if they aren't paired up they act like they want to kill each other.

Nop they are new in the tank. Males generally have two nozzles at the bottom while the females have one, that's how I distinguished them.

They seems to stop fighting now and are together again. Weird
