Guys, he's being facetious! Someone else mentioned they weren't impressed with the store, so he said he would welcome poor quality and high prices like that at his stores in Calgary.

Exactly right Brad. I wish we had anything remotely similar to that quality in Calgary. You guy's are very lucky in Vancouver.

Anyone know if they are open on Saturday? I'm gonna be down in abby tomorrow, and would love to drop by.

Saturdays are the busiest for retailers. I'm sure they'll be open.

So I dropped by hidden reef today. OMG, I couldn't believe the amount of clams they have there. That setup is aweeeeesome! Had a good number of fish there as well.

2 things that really caught my eye, 1) red african sea star (too bad not reef safe), and a small octopus (got sent to them by mistake). It was neat seeing the guy try to get out of his little container. In all very pleased with the setup out there, tons of stuff to choose from.

For some reason I believe I saw $149 written on the glass infront of it, I may be wrong however.

You should have been there last month when there were twice as many clams.

The $149 written on the glass was for the ultra grade clams.

The blue ring, which was shipped by mistake, has no price on it. Because of it's "nature" we do not know if it should be sold to anyone.

Yeah I saw that blue ring alright

I know why Mike is being so careful too, there one of the oceans most lethal creatures. Hat's off to a store that cares about it's customers health and well being
Fact is in 10 seconds a person goes into complete shock and then anywhere from 1-3 minutes your done like shrimp on the bar-b.
If I was Mike, I would arrange to have it delivered back to the supplier as for the beginner to advanced aquarist these things are a nightmare!
Not to mention the last time that I checked, there was still no anti venom available
