![]() So the other day I pickeud up a free 60 gal acryllic tank with sump. It cam with a lot of **** I threw out but kept a pump and the sump. I cleaned the tank today
![]() ![]() Now being acryllic there are scratches. I've never had an acryllic tank, is there any way I can reduce these? The overflow and drain that cam in it is a single 1.5". I was thinking of putting a couple plates on this and redrilling for either a herbie or modded bean animal, any opinions? ![]() Lastly the sump. I want the skimmer to go in here however I'm not sure where to put it. I'm almost considering building a new sump. ![]() Input is appretiated! I'm new to marine. I currently have mts hah and have a few other tanks on the go aswell! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I997R using Tapatalk |

![]() with acrylic you can get some of the fine scratches out with a really fine grit wet sand paper and some elbow grease. pretty time consuming but shouldn't be an issue, I think there are some you tube videos of it being done

![]() Ok so ivot er shining like new with the wet sand paper. Measuree the tank and its actually a 75 gal. For now I'm going to start FOWLR, and hopefully move towards reef in a year or so..
Af far as a return pump I was debating between the mag 9.5 and the sedra 900. Any opinions on experience? My tank is approx 4 ft higher.. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I997R using Tapatalk |
