How do you like keeping bamboo sharks I've never really seen them before other than new born or eggs.

Are you sparing Georges life from the sharks?

I love the sharks, it was actually my wife's idea tho

Last week my big female got spooked and ended up on the floor after destroying all the aqua scraping and a light. I found her at 6am when I came down to make coffee, she's doing fine now other than a small bit of dorsal fin damage from drying up

George tried to eat one of my eels so in the sump with the random crabs he went

Your lighting is backwards!! Usually you see the blue on top, and the yellow/white for the sump!

Haha ya I know, haven't had a chance to switch out the freshwater bulbs, I'm gonna be building a 7' aluminum fixture with 8 t5hos once I find the time, either that or buy bulbs and ballasts for my 72" coralife

Figured I'd revive an ancient thread ...

Plans changed, got rid of the sharks
New livestock list:
Pacific sailfin tang
Red sea sailfin tang
Purple tang
Regal tang
Powder grey tang
Black spot tang
Blue eye tang
Unicorn tang
Naso tang
Yellow tang
Tomini tang
2 high fin cardinals
2 anthias
1 prawn goby that I see every few weeks
3 princess damsels

Surprisingly all the tangs get along
All I have left that I want to add is a Achilles tang and I want to get rid of the grey and replace it with a blue
