![]() I keep about 10 or 15 and cycle through them. I use the 200 micron socks and they will usually last 2-3 days depending then i keep them in a tub and I will usually throw about 10 of them in a ultra clean cycle on the wash machine. No bleach or detergent for me, I found the with bleach the plastic rings would deteriorate.

![]() since having the use of a sprayer in my laundry tub I can spray the mesh style bags 100% clean in less than 60 seconds it's awesome. Felt I'm not sure it's going to be that easy. I flip inside out and spray into the sock.

![]() Mine go a week or two between changes.
![]() Then I throw them into the washing machine with bleach. Then after an extra rinse cycle, they go into a bucket of RO water with some Prime. |

![]() i use 75 micron (yes 75 micron) mesh and swap them out every three days. I just rinse with hot water (wear gloves and only use hot water, no cold at all) inside and out and let them dry in the laundry room. They do smell like my tank after they are dried out but i dont think anything that has collected fish poop will smell kosher unless i use some sort of cleaner.
