![]() what would be better combo for growing some lowlight softie corals??
a 4x 24 t5 ho on a 20-25 gallon or 2 x 96 watt pc on a 33 gallon. any awnsers are greatly apprecieated thankyou. |

![]() The t5s are enough to grow lps an some lower light sps in a 20-25g iv never used PCs but I'm sure they would be great for a softie tank plus it's a 33g I'm sure u will find a 20g to be very unforgiving when it comes to water quality

![]() PC's are inferior bulbs..I wouldn't even think about the PC's if T5's are available.
As for the small tank thing.. Just do regular water changes. You'll be fine!

![]() Why not consider some LEDs? For lower light corals you won't need one of the power fixtures with 3 watt Crees, you could probably find something at a reasonable price for a smaller tank.
