Default growth tips frags

Do growth tips (white tips) make viable frags? (off a red planet in this case) All the polyps look very healthy, but the colour makes me fear for a lack of zoox

because everyone loves pictures. As you can see all the polyps are very healthy and extended, but since it was new growth the tissue is very pale

It does look bleached but you will see with time if it will color up or die.

I have an SPS that totally turned white but after a month its colors returned and now it's beautiful, so you never know what they will do, it's just a waiting game.

Coral magazine had a big section on SPS fragging, sizes, expected growth, etc this month. If you have an iPhone it's a free app. Basically it said there's a higher mortaility rate the smaller the frag is.
That doesn't look terrible though, i've had simmilar size frags turnout. The color issue and whether or not there's algae will be interesting.
