I have a T8 fixture with a plant grow light. I am running Vertex Bio Pellets in the camber after my cheato. It hasn't grown but it also hasn't shrunk either, lots of little stars & pods in it.

Hmmm, I'd bet money then that it's the pellets taking the nutrients up before the Chaeto gets them.

More then likely your right but with both cheato & pellets my bad nitrate's & such are non existent
