![]() Just moved my redsea 130 to my new house and got everything here and don't have and clorean remover (prime) could I get a way with out using any? I am located in downtown Edmonton if that make a difference on water quietly

![]() I use my water strait out of the tap , but if your really worried about it let the water sit for 24 hours all the chlorine will evap out .

![]() that would depend heavily on if you value what you moved or not and if this is an emergency type situation or not.......if you can wait for the chlorine to evaporate out, then do so..........what Im getting at is, chlorinated water will not be good for anything in your tank, but if its an emergency then, you gotta do what you gotta do........

![]() Edmonton uses Chloramines in the water instead of chlorine, the main difference that maters is the Chloramines DO NOT evaporate out. You must use prime to break the chemical bond.
Go get some prime right now if you have not already done so! |
