![]() Just wondering if anyone might have some ideas on how to place the light without hanging it above the tank .

![]() Get some square aluminum tubing and cut them to the length of the front to back dimension of your tank. You can use electrical tape to tape a couple together if needed to raise the height. Then use velcro to hold those braces onto your tank. Use velcro to hold your lights on there. This is how I've mounted my leds onto my aquarium. Velcro just means they won't accidentally get bumped into the tank.
