I know that last one is out of focus but I love the pose.

The last pic you can see that he is eating a large piece of shrimp.

Thanks.

It has taken a LONG time but he is finally comfortable with me. He'll grab my hand, take food from my hand and let go of my hand but keep the food, and not freak out over the flash.

There's one at Pisces in Calgary. Not sure what kind but it's in one of their display tanks and they won't sell you anything out of there. Even if they would, buying livestock from them would take some thinking about.

I'm going to have to measure, but still not fully grown.

New pics at iso 3200 and 1/10 shutter speed. Super slow so if he moved it would blur.

That last one was at 1/30th what a mistake could have been a real nice one. It's very rare for me to see him on the rocks like this.

Too bad my hand reflection is in that one.

All of the pictures were taken through the front pane which I always try and do since its starphire (not sure if it really makes a difference for photos but there's usually less water to shoot through vs a side shot), however I would keep checking him out from the side. Every time I would he'd turn either his head or eyes to maintain eye contact or at least so he could see where I was.
