![]() Hey all well its time to start to figure out a longer tank for my fishies who i wont get rid of, however they will need a longer tank so from a 60x24x24 to a 96x24x24. trust me i tried going 108. But someone in the house kinda of shut me down..... cough cough TAMMY ....
![]() any how what thickness should i go it, actually what is the safest that i can go? How many braces ? Euro bracing I would like to have to ? I was told that 2x 8 " braces on top... I would like to get 1/2" but i was told he wont promise it after it s built

![]() 15mm with a euro brace and at least one brace in the center for added support. The euro brace should be at least 4" wide.
You could use 12mm all around but no matter what the bracing it'll bow a little which will be noticeable when you get real close to the tank or try taking closer photos. To save weight or cost you could just use the 15mm on the front and back and use 12mm for everything else. |
