![]() I think we would need way more information to even formulate a guess.
The good news is that it's pretty easy to figure this out. Test you paremeters and if they are within your expected range, then your bioload is fine. The only other major consideration is O2 which is a factor of skimmer and flow. |

![]() In my150 gal I have
sailfin tang orangeshoulder tang 3 clowns 8 wrasses 2 Bangui cardinals prawn goby green mandrin 7 dartfish 4 blood shrimp 4 cleaner shrimp 4 conchs 3 starfish So you are ok. Skimming is big when you are overloading the tank with and feeding a good strong ski me is a must

![]() In the tank I've got a 40-50x turn over. Skimmer is the SRO3000 (a little overkill, I know..)

![]() Thanks for your input. The SRO = super reef octopus. It's the newish octopus deluxe line. A little loud for my liking, but one hell of a skimmer

![]() I would say that's a fairly average Bioload, in comparison to my nitrate factory you will do just fine. I'm running a 170g, 65g, 70g, 30g and 30g all plumbed together (so close to 350g) and the following all live in there:
1 Purple Tang 1 Yellow Tang 1 Orange Socket Tang 1 2 Spot Bristle Tooth Tang 1 Yellow Mimic Tang 1 Chocolate Mimic Tang 2 Square Back Anthias 1 Mcoskers Fairy Wrasse 1 Long Fin Fairy Wrasse 1 Yellow and Purple Canary Wrasse 2 False Perc Clownfish 1 Coral Beauty Dwarf Angelfish 2 Adult Bangii Cardinals 9 Toonie sized Baby Bangii's 1 Saddle Back Clownfish 1 Copperband Butterfly fish 1 Tail Spot Blenny 1 Bi Color Blenny 1 Lawnmower Blenny 1 Bi Color Dotty Back 6 Peppermint Shrimp 2 Cleaner Shrimp 2 Blood Shrimp 1 Blue Harlequin Shrimp ![]() |
