I recently received a livestock shipment from http://www.seacare.org. Tim and Pat were very helpful and efficient, and my shipment arrived in Victoria (from Vancouver) just a few hours after packing (via Pacific Coastal Airways for only $20). I got some Ring Cowries Cypraea annulus and Money Cowries Cypraea moneta . The Money Cowries are particularly beautiful creatures, and they immediately went to work on my extensive hair algae.

Do you have a picture of a money cowrie? I should get some to get rid of all this hair algea. I don't know what happened. In the last week it has completely covered some of my large rocks.
How fast do they consume the algea?
Are they hard to keep?
