![]() Hey all, just looking for thoughts regarding the angel. I've had her for about 3 weeks and she is a light eater at best. She seems to be fading in colour around her face. I've been debating to QT her and medicate. Any ideas would be appreciated.

![]() I see that this post has been viewed 60 times so far and no one replies. I have no personal experience with majestic angel. Neither am I good at identifying fish diseases. But I hate to see the beatiful fish wasting away.
I suggest you trying some other bigger boards like reef central. They have more people and some experts there. |

![]() Most likely stress. Most Blue Girdled Angelfish are hardy eaters, so just need time to adjust to the new surroundings.
I have seen angels go pale on the onset of Ich, but don't think this is the case. Some tankmate may be harassing her. Ken - BWA |

![]() Judging from the other fish I see you probably have a large tank. Angels need a minimum 70 gal. Make sure you feed food that is for angels if they are being picky. It will be higher in sponges then other foods.
They also need some good hiding spots in the tank. Hope this helps a bit.

![]() Try wrapping some nori on a rock with an elastic band and sinking it down to a spot where the Majestic tends to be. This technique saved my Majestic when I first introduced it to the tank (it would not eat).
