Default LF weldon

I want to repair the brace on a HOB refugeum i have so it can either go into use again or be passed on to someone that needs it more. I just need a few drops, enough to weld an inch+ butt joint, that pulled apart.

preferably in Leduc or south Edmonton.

if nobody has any where would i be able to find some?

does it matter what thickness is used?

GE Polymershapes. Actually renamed SABIC polymershapes (I dont know why... they still describe themselves as a GE distributor location). Unfortunately not exactly close by but guaranteed to have some. 117ave and 164st. North side of the road.

Assuming it is normal acrylic... You could use weldon 3, 4, 16, or 40. 3/4 are the same versions with different solidification times (5-15 seconds vs. 30-60 seconds if memory serves me right, or something along those lines). 16 is a syrupy version of 3/4, and takes a few minutes longer to harden. Should not be used as a gap filler. 40 is a two-part that can be used also as a gap filler. It still creates a similar seam to all the others. An analogy might be to describe it as similar to weldon 16 with acrylic particles mixed in. Its not exactly that, but thats the idea. You can use whatever you feel will be the easiest to work with. The thin stuff will leave the cleanest seams, but you must make sure the contact surfaces are both very 'level' or square.

Cheers,

Chris
