Looks great!

I'll be watching your thread because I'm going to switch my 90 Gallon FW into a reef as well.

What are you going to do for overflows?

I'll be going over this week to drill in the back one or two holes. Not sure, but may do a Herbie. Have an acrylic overflow box from another tank that I will silicone onto this one.

Default My Update on my tank!

Oh so much work and lots of support from my fishy friends it all came together so nice, sump looks great plumbing works excellent and the lights look fantastic mounted from the ceiling.I ripped the top off of the canopy so that I can just slide it on or off as needed and lots of airflow.I combined contents from both the Red Sea Max and the Biocube.I would like to add an Angel fish and maybe a Tang in the future but all the guys in there right now are happy.Bonus for me I found my peppermint shrimp living in the back of the Biocube during the transfer.Have not seen that lazy shrimp since Oct of last year lol.

Looking really good ! I think you should lose the canopy or lower the lights into it a little more. Looks like it could be closer to the water surface anyways. While the canopy looks nice and matches the stand, without it working on the tank will be so much easier. Going to much larger set-up is so exciting, good job.

Yes the Tank is about 5.6 inches high and if you inclue the lights 6.6 high.I have the lights mounted 11 inches above the top of the tank,I did that so I could aquascape without getting burned on the lights.I can ajust them.Any ideas on how much clearance I should have above the tank? I still want to be able to reach in if I need too.

I think you mean 5' 6" high and 6' 6" high

Looking good and I'm glad we finally got it all together. Irene loves your rockwork. I still have that really nice LR in my sump for you to add.
