Default JBL 28g Nano Skimmer

Hey everyone,

My skimmer is on the frits, the pump that came with it broke about 3 weeks in when i got my tank. I had another pump just laying around so I easily swapped it out with no complains. A year later the skimmer is showing its age.. and its bubbling but not really collecting anything. I might take it apart and look into it.. but I know that it wasn't a good skimmer to begin with.

Any suggestions on my next step? Should I look into replacing it with the same type? or does anyone know of a good skimmer that fits in the back of the 28g JBJ Nano HQI

Do I even need a skimmer for this nano tank?

sapphire skimmers have been well received for these all-in-ones

Summers comen around aswell has anyone heard anything about this
Coolworks Iceprobe? It seems a little bit more in my price range then the chiller and doesn't use plumbing which is a plus for me... I just want something that will hopefull take the edge off of the temp flux from the light being on and off in my hot appartment
