lighting question

just posting a question for my friend he's looking for a hqi pendant to cover a 3 foot tank, lumenarc stealth, lumenmax elite or lumenmax 3. which one do you guys think is best and will give him the best performance and spread. Oh hes looking at 250watters.

LumenMax Elite seems to be leading the race, but only by a hair. However if your friend wants spread he should look into a SE bulb instead of a DE bulb.
