It very well could be Cyphastrea as well, which I'm leaning towards right now...hard to ID from a photo though. It's not Pavona though, Pavona is is velvety and not very distinct polyps. |

![]() it is pavona. it's a green pavona maldivensis, which are more commonly orange.

![]() I had time to reference some photos this morning and I think your right. It just shows that you cannot categorize based on the common species of a genus!....now how can I get a piece!?

![]() it's not too hard to find, it comes in time to time with aquaculture shipments. And it usually gets passed over by most people. The orange morph is really striking, lights up like a christmas tree under actinics.
