ok, so weldong 4 is what you want to use, but you need to be nice and flat all the way around. weldon 16 will fill small gaps but is not as strong as 4.

you want to get a pizza pan or something and put the weldon 3 or 4 in that. have some pins in there so when you place your top in the pan it is held off the bottom by the pins. (you only want the weldon to be about 1/16 of an inch above the bottom of the tube.) let it sit for about 30 seconds, then quickly put it back on the base and put a heavy book on top to hold it down. wait about 15 to 30 min and boom done.
