![]() Its a 40gallon cube, 24x24x18, is an MJ1200 too much flow? My shrimp hide in the and don't swim around like in my last setup, and I am concerned that high flow may be their issue.

![]() I have a 2 maxijet 1200s, a koralia 2 and a hagen 402 in my 60g cube tank (24"x24"x24") so no I don't think a maxijet 1200 is too much

![]() Might just be the new setup keeping them shy for now. If flow really is an issue design the rockwork to create calmer shelter spots. But I doubt it's a flow issue, I have 2 MJ12's and 2 Hagen 301's (on a wavemaker mind you) on a 40g/24x24x12 tank and it's not really enough flow for what's in there...
