Default Spaghetti worm how big do these get?

I have a few of these in my tank and they look like they are growing rapidly.
Does anyone else have any, and can they become a problem.
Not the best picture but you can get an idea.

Definately a good thing. They feed mainly on detritus.

They are good. Every now and then you see a "poof" in the tank. That is the spaghetti worm clearing itself out!

Do they get really big? I don't really like them all over my SPS.
They are small right now but I have at least 3-4 in my 24 gallon.

spaghetti worm refers to a group of species of annelid worms. there's a bunch of different species, some of which can get large-ish. The ones that end up in aquariums usually remain quite small. regardless they are harmless critters that basically eat poop and bacteria on the sand around themselves. I think they're kinda pretty myself.
