I just got one in a colony I picked up today. They don't require "target" feeding, they will live off of what the coral provides and any fish food that gets stuck in their coral. I read somewhere that they will die if removed from their "home". This is the only coral I have that has one so we'll see if this colony does any better that the others in my tank.

Acro crabs come in several shades & colours. They hunt at night and scavenge about. In the day they generally stay tucked away and try to prevent the coral from predators.
Untamed, I think your picture would be a great entry for the July POTM contest. Here is a picture of one of my acro crabs. ![]()

So turns out there was two of them but one ate about half of my SPS (on the one piece).
He/She is now in my refugium in a pop bottle. Will my coral grow back its skin its mostly gone on the bottom? BAD CRAB ![]()
