what is the lenght of your 65 gal i might have a 8 bulb tek t-5 system if it will fit the lights are 48 "

It's 40 inches long, 18.5 inches wide and 20 inches deep

I wish it was 48 inches long, i would have found a light for it very easily.

So i guess i need a 36 inches light. I can put some glass strips for the light to rest on if it's T5 HO but MH i will have to suspend higher.MH can be one light with two bulbs or two pendants. Even two Coralife 150 w hang on back MH might work.

I have the same tank with one mh 250. I modified it by replacing the center brace with acrylic and using nylon screws at the attachment point. Just another option for you
