Default Buckets

I usually buy buckets from the hardware store for changing water in my reef. I was wondering how safe it would be to use old detergent/paint buckets if I rinsed them out really well.

I think the safest bet would be to use the buckets that salt comes in.

I would definitely NOT use buckeets that had paint/detergent/any other kind of unsafe chemical in it. Stick to salt buckets. If you don't have any, ask your lfs for a few.

Ha..ha...I don't foresee that happening! I've been trying to figure out if I could build a small toolshed out of them...or fill them with sand and build a retaining wall for a highway...Some one let me donate a dozen or so to the SPCA. That was good.

Brad.
