![]() one of the shovels are no good at our mine so im thinking of salvaing some lights off it. there 10 000k 500 watt lights would they work for a reef? or do you think they would be too hot?

![]() The Iwasaki 6500K bulbs are mercury vapor bulbs IIRC. Though I've never seen a 500W bulb before.
