Default Receding coral....

My sun coral is receding, I feed him every night a blend of mysis and cyclopeze.

Stats:
Calcium 410
KH 12
PH 8.2
NH3 NO2 NO3 all 0

Not sure what is going on, have also noticed my Trumpet is receding and Duncan isn't looking good either.....

Frogspawn is great, all softies are flourishing.....

Any one have any ideas?

Make sure it's not in too much flow. Sun corals seem to be especially sensitive that way.

I started using Coral snow as well and my corals have responded well and you can see improvement in 2 weeks.....and I didnt think they needed improvement but was encouraged to try it out.

Don't forget water changes as well. I know when my tank starts to slump it's because I've been lax in that department

At 12 DKH your alk is getting close to being double that of NSW. I would tone that down to about 8dhk for a balance that will better match your calcium at 410. What is your magnesium level at?

i would also get the pohls coral vitalizer .. works great with the snow.
