Default Working on the car and the nano reef?

Toxins on the hands is always an issue in reef tanks and in a nano tank it's even more so. Lately I've been working on new beater and I've been paranoid of touching my tank now because of the toxins of motor oil, rust, antifreeze, etc, etc...

I have a water change that had to be done on tuesday but I put it off because on tuesday I did an oil change. I was going to do it today but then but then I had to bleed the heater and radiator. I've been wearing long sleeved shirts and a jacket while working on the car so I'm thinking that rubber gloves with elastic bands around the wrists would be enough while working on the tank.

I'm afraid of doing damage to my tank. Any input?

Have you tried Lee Valley? They have elbow length rubber gloves that work really well. They are not bulky and are thin enough to feel what you're doing. And it's pretty cheap. $7.95

Get a pack of those cow butt gloves, they come in 100s and cost a few dollars.

I bought some about 5 years ago and still have lots left, even after gicing many away to fellow reefers.
