Default Lockline fitting

I currently have your typical return. With the funnel type end piece on the lock line.
I'm wondering if anyone has ever seen or might have a source for a end piece that would act as a defuser. Instead of focusing the water flow I'm looking for something that would spread the water out. Same volume of water just increased coverage and reduseing the pressure at a given point. Sorry having a hard time explaining.

I don't even know if this is possible....but I was looking at a vacuum attachment at modularhose.com (http://modularhose.com/ll25.htm). They only come in the 2.5" hose size, so not sure how feasible it would be! It just struck me as a way to perhaps diffuse some of the flow that usually seems rather direct and focused coming out of a regular loc line fitting.

Edit: nevermind, the link doesn't work. Just go to www.modularhose.com and select the 2.5" ID System in the menu bar at the top.

Do you mean like a flare nozzle instead of the typical round nozzle? Like this one?

Arn't those rated at about 300gph? Jason may have trouble slowing things down that much.
