Son Agro is actualy the ANSI code desagnation for a type HPS ballast.

Advance/phillips makes one, Venture makes one, and I guess magnatek makes one. I think the Venture is the cheepest normaly and has a 0.9 power factor. just ask for a
430 watt Son Agro HPS ballast and see what brand they carry

Thanks again folks, and Stephane wall mart sells those NO fluorescent fixtures for $11 and you can run them with one or two tubes. I have a bunch of them if anyone in the vancouver area needs one.

I've decided I do need my actinics. They do enhance the colors. Radiums on Son Agro ballasts aren't really that blue
