Default just some stuff I'm keeping in a glass box

Here is my favorite clam and an acro that has developed some interesting PE, almost like mini-sweepers. Check it out.

They look like hydroids although I've never seen hydroids colonize living tissue, love the clam though

Th more I look at the picture the more I think hydroids . It looks like all the polyps on the acro are actually retracted

That sucks, how does one get rid of them?
Pretty sure there's no hydroids on this shaggy A.tenuis.

I found lots of info on hydroids and not much on how to remove them, other then by hand

And I would say your right about there not being any on the A tenuis . I wish shipping things to Powell River was a little more reliable I would be trying to buy a frag of that for sure

Edit, my angel might eat hydroids, maybe you should send that poor coral to me

Default Ah what the heck, here's a few more

This poor efflo has been through the ringer a few times now and is finally starting to get some colour back again after my DW leak incident, still a lot on the brown side but I kinda like the growth form..

updated monti - top down pic.

I am hoping this A.abrotanoide's branch ends turn red for Christmas
