Default Placing a chiller inside a stand

I am getting a chiller for my 30 gallon tank.

Obviously for maximum efficiency the chiller should be located in an unenclosed space.

However there are space constraints in the room and the most convenient place to put the chiller would be inside the stand. The stand is partly open in the back.

My question is for people who use chillers, where are you placing the chiller and does it work OK inside the stand? Clearly there will be an efficiency loss but I want to know for practical purposes will it work or not.

Default

with my chiller it was clearly stated to have in an area with complete air flow around it and not to close it in....with the amount of heat it puts out while chilling I wouldn't even consider putting it in a stand....just IMO
