Default A poor real-estate move – in Alberta?

Hello,

This maybe the most asinine thing you’ve ever heard but…

I bought a yellowhead jawfish yesterday. He made his little home last night, but it’s in the worst spot possible (well, not WORST, but it sucks). I don’t want to be a jerk to the little guy, but is there a way I can get him to move shop?

Thank you!

Try creating an obvious burrow for the little guy to take up shop in.

In regards to burrows, you can usually modify the landscape so you predict where it would want to hide but if it doesn't want to burrow there, I just let it do its thing.

Thank you.

Well, it's the end of day two and I can't find the little guy. I haven't gone into the tank and moved stuff around, but I can't see him in his burrow.

I saw his this morning before the lights came on but when I came home from work he was MIA. I don't think it's possible he jumped as there was no body to be found and the tank currently has a screen over it to prevent just that.

Is it possbile he's hiding somewhere in the tank? Anyone been through this?

Thanks again.

When I first got my YJF, he dug 4 or 5 burrows before he figured out where he wanted to live.

They like to jump so if you take off the lid he will likely move to the carpet where you can get a better look at it.
