But what about haemoglobin? Its latin. They had their own (weird) ideas about spelling and pronunciation


I say key-toe. key-toe-morfa. But I think chee-toe is also "acceptable". According to meriamwebster.com and yahoo education


I think one of my faves is zoxanthellae. I always missed the x in the middle. called them zoe-anthellay. Then one day Jamie pronounced it (correctly of course, zoe-zan-thellay). EmilyB and I sort of looked at each other and then later on had a good laugh (oohhh so thats how its pronounced!!! )

well for one coralline has two "L"s so i say coral-een.

nudibranch ends hard. so like nudi-brangk. lol that's just how i say it though. tomato, tomahto... shrug.
