Talking Pics of the New York Aquarium :)

A few weeks back I was in New York City and was super excited to check out the New York Aquarium. I thought I would share some pictures from my trip. I have TONS of pictures but will only post a few.

I have been to many aquariums. I rank this aquarium in my top 5 list. I was actually impressed by this aquarium. Big setups, nice sized tanks, especially for the mammals, lots of rockwork, lots of greenery all around, little freshwater tanks, mainly all saltwater. The fish were huge! The shark tank was the best I'd seen, better then in Las Vegas even. My favorite creature at this aquarium ended up being the Walrus. I fell in love with him! He was adorable! I could have watched him play all day long. Yeah, the Walrus was my fav!

I actually wanted to check out this Aquarium to see the Sea Dragons, but the few they had passed away. I was told by the aquarium that the Australian aquarium has just recently had a successful batch of baby Sea Dragons! WoohoO!

If you are ever in New York City, go to Coney Island and check out this New York Aquarium. You won't be disappointed

Enjoy pictures!

YES! You must check it out! It was only $12 us dollars for admission to the Aquarium. No extra costs either to see any of the dolphin shows, shark, walrus feeding, penguin & seal feedings. I found staff were very polite, friendly and passionate about what they did & loved where they worked. Two thumbs up!

A few more pictures to add...

A Chambered Nautilus

Japanese Hairy Crab (size of a basketball) pic sized down
