Heheh Mario's actually for Nintendo  . And well if you didn't have a DVD player already, you can also watch'em on the PS2 . You Hubs should have got an X-box, there is a really sweet deal on them for the Holidays plus they have a real sweet on-line gaming set-up  .

MUST GO PLAY NOW!!!...LOL .

I played Mario with the original Nintendo....you are right. Right down to the 8th level.... :P And now, I just want more...

I've also been privy to the capabilities of the PS2 as a DVD player..... :? seems ok, but my hairdresser (they know all) told me she bought a VCR/DVD player for $89.........not to mention my hubby bought the PS2 just before it dropped $200 in price.

Ah, yes, well at least PS2 came out with a new game similiar to what we like to idly play....Crash Bandicoot has been the best for us.

Hi,

I just bought an Xbox for my family's christmas present. I guess we will be quite busy on Christmas Gamecube just didn't click with me....it was a suped up N64. I hate Sony...so PS2 is gone. I hate Micro$oft, but at least their xbox can be hacked so that I can run linux off of it.

Mak...I hope you got a good deal on your xbox. Superstore had a really good deal last week.

- Victor.

HEhe yeah $289 plus I get 20% off . They were sold out of the bundle with the 2 games and the new controller and nor did they have the X-box Live instock . Oh well when they get the next shippment in I get'em both and I get to use this one until then .

What did Stupidstore (how can you tell I'm a disgruntled ex-employee) have them for?

LOL ... yeah a POS DVD player that plays DVD and that's it. No features and goodies that you gotta dish the extra cash out for. OK, but what do I know? I paid $1300 for mine .

Hi,

Superstore was selling them for $289 and $30 off. So...may I ask where you got yours ?

$1300....sounds like a pretty heavy duty DVD player. Which one did you get ?

My DVD player is the Toshiba SD-6200 http://www.codefreedvdplayers.com/DV...6200_DTL.shtml I bought it about a year ago, not sure what it's worth now.
