Default Buying and Selling

I have just started the research phase on setting up a reef aquarium.

After pricing a tank and components I can see that purchasing used equipment is a very smart way to go.

How does everyone handle sales on this forum? Paypal, cheque, small unmarked bills in a dark parking lot?

I prefer a direct wire to one of my off-shore accounts (Cayman Islands or Switzerland)....but sometimes it's just easier to do email money transfers Or for local buys, cash.

used equipment is always a good way to go when you are starting out.

most people can accept paypal but will impose the same surcharge to cover the fee imposed to the receipient of the money
cash always works unless they have a funny feel to the money and they all have the same serial number
i usually accept cheque too but it depends on the seller
email money transfer usually works for people who bank with the larger common banks (i use President Choice and they have a service fee for using this)

I prefer small unmarked bills in a dark parking lot (OR at J&L's parking lot)
