awesome

I always thought a aquarium tunnel system would be cool to have. I'd be paranoid with that falling on my head all the time thought

No air can get into the tube to replace any of the water volume that would rush out, so it acts like a vacuum and holds the water up. If you drill an air hole anywhere in the tube, the water will all come rushing down.

I have no idea. I think it was on Fark or /. or reddit or one of those places.

http://blog.wired.com/tableofmalcont...a_better_.html

I just thought it was hilarious someone would do that. I don't think it's a very viable thing to do and I don't think it improves the quality of life of the fish like the guy says, but if it's for real then it's just an interesting technical challenge.

If I build one of these tubes from my basement up to my living room, I don't really think I'd see my tang come up to tell me it's feeding time.

Very cool idea, but I'd also be scared that something would happen to release all the water.

Thanks for posting

I think this tank would be easier to do.

It would be super cool and benificial for an octopus tank.
