A syringe full of boiling water delivered straight to the gut has worked for me. Other options are Joe's Juice or a peppermint shrimp, but I haven't found those as reliable.

I had a problem with apistasia. I did some reading and tried a couple things heres a list of what I tried and how it worked.

Injecting pure lemon juice- Took out some but not a big difference plus not all that great for your tank.

Joe's juice- Didnt really do a thing seemed to make them angry (apistasia would appear dead but return later on)

I found that anything involving a syringe could work but was a very diificult method becuase you gotta inject the apistasia right in the middle of it but as soon as u touch it it shrinks also if you puncture them you can spread even more throughout your tank.

pepper mint shrimp- miracle cure!!! after about a week there wasnt a trace of any of those little sob's anywhere. Big downfall though a couple days later there wasnt a trace of the peppermint shrimp either.
