I bought this as a crispa. It has done relatively well in my tank. It stays on the sandbed and never climbs the rockwork. It has purple tips on its tentacles. Is it a crispa?

![]() its actually a rock flower anenome (Epicystis crucifer)
from the Caribbean very hardy and easy to keep ! feed it every once in a while they come in all sorts of colours .. green, pink, white,brown they move around the sand bed until they find a place they like where there is good light and food. they do like Iodine !! and do there best when you add it regularly. cheers dave |

![]() Definitely not a flower anemone...it does host clownfish. The picture I took was just a bad one.

that is a flower anemone. Notice the bland coloration, and also the stripes on all of the tentacles. This is absent in my picture. My anemone also has purple tips on the end of each tentacle. Anybody else got any idea out there as to the ID of this anemone. I will try to get a better pic, but for right now he is eating ![]()
