![]() I just picked up a 33G hex tank that I was planning on setting up for my girlfriend but if possible would also like as a refugium. I understand it's a fairly tall tank (24") so I'm curious how effective it would even be. I would prefer not to get a MH light for it if I don't have to either. Does anyone have any good examples of refugiums that are also used as a display tank? I would like something that I can grow a lot of macro algae in that's still eye pleasing and can house some fish and a couple seahorses.

![]() I'm sure there must be a pic or two in the picture forum of refugium tanks. People quite often incorporate macro tanks into a display and put seahorses, pipefish and other low flow fish in them.
