Just a pic of the tank with the moonlights in this fixture. (A little on the bright side IMO.)



Not sure if I like them. Does anyone have an opinion on if they're too bright to simulate moonlight?

They are a little on the bright side, but I think that's fine. Also, I think if the unit is mounted with the legs, then it's not really too high off the surface of the water... so it would give more penetration and more of a spotlight look. This is why I think hanging the unit would be better... so (all) lights can illuminate throughout the tank better. JMO

Well, I'm not sure what to suggest... maybe they will dull after the initial break-in? I am not sure. Hopefully it doesn't drive you too crazy.
