As long as it is a gel, you are OK. The one I have used for more than 100 Zoo frags is "Loctite Super Glue with Gel control" I get it a Canadian Tire.

Ok, so the super-glue that I have is called "the gripper". Actually it doesn't even say the word "gel" anywhere on the tube! All it says is "the gripper super-glue"!!!
It is clear in colour and looks exactly the same as all the super-glue I have always used and bought from canadian-tire, walmart, dollar-store, etc. Am I ok to use it? Actually I used it to glue to pieces of plastic together, but I haven't put it into my reef yet; am I ok to do so? Thank you all for trying to help me (and my animals). fresh.

then don't use it.. better safe than sorry.
I'd go purchase the regular famous brand "krazy-glue" and your set.
