All I did was take a large frag from the front of the piece. After that, it was down hill. The zoos started advancing after the coral died. But there are a few edges still alive so Im keeping my fingers crossed.

Sorry to hear about you losing that coral there Chris. I have loss my geeen cap too from my flame i thing.

I find caps are bad as if you grab them to hang on to them they die off in thoes areas. if you kinda cradel them from underneith and don't aply pressure at all then I have good luck with them.

I was that got fragged piece.. it has gone to the crap bin too. Although it does not have the bleached look yet.. so I am still holding out for it. just very very tan colour, not sure if its just algae tho. Anyone know a sure fire way to tell if its dead and gone?

caps often loose colour after you stress them. if it still has poylps it might colour back up again one day.
