yep, its a bristle worm. he is good for the tank but like Invigor said, dont touch them. they will leave little barbs in your hand!

it'd be benificial to goto home depot and get some pond gloves so you don't have to barehand things in your tank...they leave quite the itch

It is funny, or handy. I am impervious to those things. I have handled many without a problem.
