Default Worm ID

I saw quite a few of these buggers running around on the rocks in my tank tonight. Are they good or bad? They looked orangish before my camera flash.

Not sure why the pics aren't working. I got the URL right from the photo gallery. Try this link if the other ones don't work:

Bristle worm. Most bristle worms are harmless and infact good for your tank. They can in some cases become a pest when they get too large though. It's the fire bristle worm you have to watch out for.

Im not sure that *.bmp are supported by the forum software.
Try saving them as *.jpg next time.

Thanks guys. The thing I'm worried about is that they did look like fire worms in the dark but the flash just made them look grey.

Most bristle worms have a sting to them so they shouldn't be handled (If I'm not mistaken (again)). They are good scavengers, they eat anything that they can get that doesn't move. They can help keep under your rock clean and other areas where cleaning can be difficult.
